A Case of Compound Fracture of the Frontal Sinus with Foreign Body

Abstract
Authors experienced a case of compound fracture of frontal sinus with foreign bodies (glass pieces) in it and multiple lacerated wound on the face following traffic accident in a 30 year old man.
The foreign bodies were removed,. osteoplasty to the fractured bone of the frontal sinus and primary suture on the face were successfully performed under general anesthesia in an early attempts.
Authors proposed that the posterior wall of the frontal sinus should be watched with surgical microscope determining whether fracture or not. When one attempts to get the osteoplasty, suturing between the soft tissue and the periosteum of the fractured bone should be done to prevent anchoring down again.
Polyethylefte tube insertion from frontal sinus into the, nasal cavity through the nasofrontal. duct was helpful in the healing process.
